The S-45 sound enclosure series have a 2" thick wall with a tube frame. The enclosure shall be designed to incorporate ventilation using acoustically treated air intake systems. The enclosure frame shall be made of aluminum square tubing frame that allows at least one wall and roof panel to be removable without utilizing any screws. A three directional slip fit corner fitting shall be provided at each of the eight corners to connect all aluminum frame pieces together. Acoustical panels shall have 16-gauge galvanized steel channel provided for bottom caps and top caps and openings. Wall and roof panels shall have exterior skin of 16-gauge damped galvanized steel filled with sound absorption material and 22-gauge perforated galvanized steel inner liner or wear resistant foam. Noise control entails suppressing audible kinetic energy in two ways, and the most effective solutions may require a combination of the two: First, contain noise with enclosures and or barrier materials. Second, absorbing noise with panels.
